Great RN staff--very knowledgeable and caring. Fair salary and good shift differentials. Lots of opportunities to make time-and-a-half even for non full-time staff. EPIC charting

Cons

Heavy patient assignments. High RN turnover. Management. Very slow computers--they spent millions buying EPIC but never upgraded the computers or servers!

Pros

I work in the Women's hospital so it's a little different than the main hospital. Pros are benefits, scheduling is flexible, and nice perks during nurses week.

Cons

If you get a point it stays on your record for 2 years, working weekends, and the Women's hospital base pay is lower than the main hospital which I think is unfair. Ohh and the most ridiculous thing is we dont get paid extra for working on holidays.
