Wonderful co-workers who really care about the clients. Good pay for the job, and compensated for paperwork.

Cons

Irregular hours, lots of travel without gas reimbursement.

Worked in the group homes for about 4 years. Very altruistic and satisfying if you feel like you're making a positive difference in someone's life

Cons

Emotionally draining. Whether you work with an easy group of people or difficult group, it will tug on your heart strings.
