      Good place to learn finance but the hours are relentless

      Work with very intelligent, highly motivated individuals and you get exposure to some of the biggest companies in the world

      Cons

      For a junior banker in Investment Banking coverage for every live transaction you do be prepared to work on 15 - 20 pitches which are equally as demanding as an actual transaction but not very interesting at all.

      It's a well known brand name that people across the word recognize if only because they used to sponsor the premier league. Daily responsibilities are always changing

      Cons

      IT and basic infrastructure at Barclays is terrible. Basic on site training is nil. It sometimes feels like a people-mill.
