      Pros

      Talented and smart colleagues. It is a tough place to be and you get challenged very often. You can do amazing things since it is pretty much still an evolving firm. The culture is very open.

      Cons

      You need to show off :). Good networking is extremely essential at this firm. To move ahead, you need to make sure that the right people know about you.

      Barclays is becoming just another big Credit Card company

      Pros

      You can learn the credit card industry and get exposure to all departments with ease. Culture is rather relaxed. Time off is generous.

      Cons

      No raises for anyone in 2 years. Limited promotions and hiring from outside is common. I've never had such limited exposure to department heads before. UK parent is making Sourcing and Risk Tolerance unbearable. UK parent has a "one template" approach to all their companies.
