Cons
Barilla offers limited career opportunities, although the company presence is worldwide, there are only few operative office and branches all around the world. key position are often occupied by old-fashion italian manager, strongly holding their position in HQ. Salary level is average: when joining the company you can get great deals, but once inside there is not a clear salary review policy and in any case we are talking of ridiculous salary growth. Employes on the other side are quite protected and normally the base salary is high, while STI or extra bonus remains on the low side. it is an extremely bureaucratic and rigid company, Italy-centric, with high resistance to change
