Pros

Company makes great product with focus on quality & leadership is passionate about business growth. Upbeat environment, flexible work schedule depending on the dept, effort to make company a fun place to work. Very good benefits package. Good work/life balance. Decent training programs.

Cons

Very limited chances to get experience in different depts or get promoted. Tend to hire new mgmt from the outside only. Dealings with corporate HQ in Italy difficult due to language barrier resulting in miscommunications. Mgmt unable to be flexible in decision making since decisions are controlled by Italy corporate HQ

Pros

Barilla is very big on the quality of products and this is particularly important when working for a Food company. Furthermore, Barilla is expanding globally thus offering the possibility to work at its offices worldwide.

Cons

Its centralized Decision Making style can be a bit disencouraging when trying to attain an approval under a strict deadline.

Pros

Great products, Great Brand, Good pay, Excellent benefits. Culture is obsessive about product quality. Great advertising and cool PR activities. The company hires very talented people, pays well and provides an environment where work balance is attainable. Medical benefits are A+. Office facilities are colorful, with natural light and great amenities. Business is growing, which is always a positive.

Cons

Limited upward mobility. Sales department is the business driver. There is an opportunity for better cross departmental team dynamics. Working on pasta business is very motivating, but it is tougher if your responsibilities are in sauce where growth has been difficult to achieve.
