It was great working for bass pro. It was retail so you get what you signed up for.

Cons

It could get pretty busy at times and in turn overwhelming. But my co workers made it worth it for me.

-Great coworkers -Good discounts -dogs are allowed in, i love dogs.

Cons

-Micromanaged -Managers tend to bully and use scare tactics -Leads think they have more authority than they actually do -Managers don't work. They hide in their offices or walk around and tell u what to do. (never seen a manager on a register, putting go backs away, NONE OF IT) but expect to "know" everything.

Lots of overtime during Christmas season which comes in handy If you work day shift they have a kitchen open during lunch which can cook pretty much whatever you want

Cons

You're on a rate system and you get weekly performance reviews and if you're not up to par you'll reprimanded or even fired They discourage talking while you're working because it means you're not working as hard as you could be The warehouse is not air conditioned in the summer Pay is very low for the amount of work that is expected
