      Pros

      Working as a student intern at the office of intercultural education was such a great experience and provided insight on the politics of race and culture on the entire campus

      Cons

      I think it is pretty ridiculous that they still haven't found a well-qualified director for the Multicultural (oops now intercultural) center! Get it together, Bates!

      Bates is a good environment to work in with good benefits and decent pay if you have been there a number of years.

      Cons

      Starting pay for non salaried employees is low making it difficult to hire full time employees with desired qualifications.
