      - Leadership is intent on growing positive company culture as well as growing the company's diversity, equality, and inclusion by having events and connecting minority employees with senior leadership mentors. - Research-focused teams are self-driven and provide good work-life balance. - As a non-profit, Battelle contributes heavily to STEM education in Ohio and around the nation. - IRAD tech council works effectively to grow and sharpen employee's ideas - Exposure to many different areas of expertise provides many opportunities to learn and grow

      In the government contracting space (for computer engineers specifically), not as many remote opportunities due to the nature of the work.

      Lower-level management is overworked and doesn't have time for most of their direct reports "Fake" comparison data for compensation /benefits package Too many career/job roles makes balancing the organization's pay structure impractical Cyber jobs are overworked/overburdened with little respect from local management Unless you have advanced degrees your career upward mobility is capped Bogus overtime structure
