      Massive layoffs

      Pros

      The work was very interesting and the people were great.

      Cons

      The new CEO just laid off 10% of the staff and it wasn't just management scientists were let go as well. It was completely unexpected.

      Pros

      The people are really great, but have to work up against the management stream to get the job done

      Cons

      The management is in a tailspin. There were several hundred laid off in Aug/Sept of 2017, AFTER a big hiring boon in 2016. As you would guess, the business line managers and above who should have been laid off were kept, while the good ones or promising senior scientists were let go, some after a couple of months on the job after being recruited from other places.

      Not too many. All is about the bottom line.

      Benefits going down hill fast. False sense of being innovative. Lack of business acumen at the highest levels. Doesn't know what it wants to be. Reputation is going down hill fast
