Good place to work if you don't mind doing the same thing for years

Flexible. If you have personal difficulties they are very understanding. Good leadership. Communication has improved over the years. Good working environment. Coworkers are very professional.

Cons

Little or none growth opportunities. If you don't mind doing the same stuff for years, this is your kind of place. If you want to grow, you need to look other places.

Working in maintenance at Bausch & Lomb has been the best job that I've had.

Pros

They do give a good amount of vacation and 5 days sick time. Competitive pay and benefits. Clean working atmosphere with almost zero danger of hazardous chemicals.

Cons

Because of the process if they get behind on production or incoming orders overtime becomes overwhelming. They will run every weekend and people sometimes beg to get off. Some supervisors, not all, can be ruthless. It is not a hard job people make the job hard.

Your ideas might not be welcomed as the senior management is already preoccupied with theirs. May be you are discouraged by poor response of other stake holders.
