Pros

You can work 4 day work week. Okay benefits. New office building but treated like your in jail. A few nice coworkers.

Cons

The Managed Care Dept hires people that aren't qualified for the job. They pick and choose who they want for growth behind closed doors. They post a job for an hour and let only the person they choose get the chance to apply. The director pretends to care but gossips a lot behind employees backs. The VP struggles to even say hello to her employees because they are beneath her. The office environment is set up like a prison. Stand up to talk to a coworker and your stared at by management. The thought of letting people work from home is not even allowed to be brought up because management can't imagine not having control over people and treating them like adults.

Pros

Access to cutting edge technology, lots of opportunities to train and learn different systems. The organization as a whole works hard to treat employees with dignity and respect.

Cons

Not much opportunity to move upward, although the state that they "promote from within", I haven't seen it.

Pros

I got to learn alot

Cons

Trust Dignity and Respect are just words but they are not part of the DNA of the IT leadership organization. The leadership in the IT shop is very poor. Anyone with a brain or a heart has left or has been canned. When is Senior Leadership going to wake up and understand that ithe excuse of the end of a large project but a reflection of the top leadership and their lack of integrity and respect? That meetings with employees and TR that no one feels safe giving their feedback as they know it is not heard nor respected?
