BayCare Health System reviews

The employees doing the day to day jobs generally seem to care about what they are doing. Senior management cares about the numbers only. They do not have a clue about what is going on at many of the sites. Managers and directors come and go as they please. They do not listen to the employees about anything. They say they listen but they do not. You can forget about ever moving up in the organization unless you know someone. People that are extremely qualified are just passed over. They only follow the policies when it suits them.

The stated values are no where in action. The nursing care is simply awful at Morton Plant Meese - with no accountability for care delivered to patients and families. In all my years as a nurse I have never seen anything like it. In event of a serious iillness my family is going elsewhere. The Senior Nursing Leadership is so self asborbed and lack knowledge of the real world. Blame Blame Blame is the way of life. I came from a health system that had a very advanced evidenced based shared goverance approach and it was light years of this insitution. Infections and other problems are the way of life.
