Pros

Good pay and benefits. I loved the other technologist.

Cons

This is the only location with an Open Mri within the Baycare outpatient system. You will be expected to produce the same amount of patient volume as compared to many other closed magnets throughout the community. You will work alone and be required to obtain previous labs, studies, and communicate with the Dr's offices and run I-stats when needed. If there is an angry patient in the waiting room you are asked to keep the patient informed and at ease. The front desk and Radiologist can not leave until you are finished scanning the last patient..of course, you are always behind schedule and they stand behind your back asking why you are behind schedule..... The best part is when you sit down with your manager each month and discuss your ranking v/s all other Mri facilities.. Got to love those patient surveys :). You better be the happiest most fabulous tech on the list- or the manager gets a little bent out of shape. That's when the fun begins.. The facility is open 7 days a week.......Beware

Pros

Decent benefits, teammates who genuinely care about patients, upper management.

Cons

Pettiness within departments, lack of care for team by middle management, employees made to feel as if they are easily replaceable regardless of time with the company. Longevity does not = job secruity.

Pros

Good health care and other benefits.

Cons

Overall I was extremely disappointed with my experience. My immediate supervisor had no clinical skills. If she doesn't like you, game over. If something goes wrong be sure that the supervisor will blame you and not take responsibility for anything and make false reports to upper management. I was very disappointed with Baycare they promote good values that seem great, but in the behavioral health offices programs in Pasco County they don't care about your actual work performance its rather if you can succeed making it with poor supervision. You can be fired within the first 6 months of your orientation period of working there basically without cause and you won't have a second to defend yourself.
