Upper-management doesn't listen to the people who actually do the work. The work load is way too much and work hours are continually changing. They have an open-door policy but won't listen to you (if you can catch them). Work life balance is next to none (unless you are upper-management.)

A lot of fires to put out: 1. class action lawsuits re: safety 2. tv.commercial/ad had to be pulled for "false advertising" 3. discrimination lawsuits against internal executive team 4. blockbuster drug went generic a year early. Leadership had no idea. We found out on the streets... 5. 65% increase in price on medical device-providers were very upset and it took a year for most insurances to meet and approve the price increase for reimbursement. All these negative things cause 5 rounds of layoffs over a 3 year period.
