Pros

Outstanding laboratory capabilities & brilliant scientists - Baylor Genetics has the infrastructure and scientific legacy needed to standout in today’s over saturated genetic testing market.

Cons

Interested in Medieval class systems? Do you enjoy being belittled and bullied? If you’re the kind of person who loves disappointing clients and appreciates micromanagement, come join the fun at Baylor!! From onboarding to test ordering, PTO to a non existent commission structure, Baylor does an excellent job setting their employees up for failure. Have a question about your new role? Need answers for clients? Don’t know who you can or cannot contact? No worries - it’s not written down anywhere so do your best to guess. And remember- never speak to anyone above you in the hierarchy. Direct communication is forbidden- you must channel all questions through your manager, who will then be routinely ignored by leadership. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that BG’s presence in America means the company operates with American values such as freedom and democracy. Or that it takes into consideration that its end users are sick kids. .

Pros

Good if you are first starting, however, keep send application out.

Cons

Higher management is all remote and never shows up, unless the CEO comes in and then they act like everything is good and honestly they are 1 or 2 bad moves to losing a lot of money.
