      Nice People, Terrible Compensation

      Pros

      -Good 401K (8% Match when I started, but was lowered due to COVID) -Knew a lot of the new hires from school

      Cons

      -poor compensation -not much upward mobility (managers stay a while) -was passed up to be placed in a position to an outside hire

      Pros

      I generally do not work overtime. My supervisor is very friendly. The work is fairly easy to predict on a day to day basis.

      Cons

      Upper management is not interested in fair or equal pay. If they can get 3 times as much work out of you, they will still pay you less than the next guy. They will not respond in writing to formal inquiries, despite repeated requests. They increase sample volume without planning ahead for storage space, employees to process the samples, space for the employees to work. Getting a response on ANY inquiry requires knowing the specific person in the specific department who will actually do their job.

      The company truly cares about their employees. There is a lot of opportunity for growth. Collaborative team-oriented culture. Great people to work with.

      Cons

      Not a lot of cons. You are expected to take ownership of your work and learn from your mistakes.
