Pros

Having the company name on your resume. This was even been said in an interview from the interviewee. If you 'drink the cool-aide' you'll be fine but don't expect to be able to make any changes.

Cons

Low Pay. No work life balance. No training. High turnover. If you were not there when they were BCM, you are viewed as lesser than.

Pros

Administration expresses willingness to improve the lab with efficiency and technology.

Cons

Most departments have no knowledgeable supervisors. Higher management can't tell who is really working or earning increases. A hard worker is more likely to be taken to task for a routine mistake than someone who always does as little work as possible. Departments that stand to improve from the kaizen approach are hopelessly tied down by office politics, manipulation, and favor.
