Pros

I was hired by Behavior Frontiers last year. I just graduated so, with little to no experience, I was excited to learn that they offered paid training. Field training was exciting, as I was able to put the skills I learned into action. The entire training process was easy and smooth. I worked here for about 1 year. They pay you for the time you are driving from one client to another. They also pay your mileage. I was fortunate to work full-time so I was offered benefits after I was given more cases. My pay was competitive with other ABA companies.

Cons

The only con that I would have to mention about the company is that it's independent work. Although the staff supports you immensely, you are working alone a lot so you do not get to meet a lot of your coworkers, but you do when they company has parties or social events.

Pros

Everyone that i have met at BF has been really nice and understanding. Good pay for a part-time job. It's nice not be working in an office setting. Pays for mileage if you are going to more than one clients house in day.

Cons

Not given enough hours. All of my clients live at least 30 minutes away from me. Some clients display aggressive behavior which can be hard to deal with on a daily basis. There isn't a lot of interaction with coworkers- so sometimes you can feel alone doing this job. This job is definitely meant for someone who is patient and for someone who doesn't mind dealing with non-compliant behaviors. It is not met for everyone. Make sure you enjoy working with kids with special needs and not just with typical kids.
