Pros

You can survive (and even thrive) doing little or no work. Flexible hours.

Cons

Good work is not rewarded. Good workers are given the same raises, promotions, etc. as those who do little or no work. Innovation is not recognized or rewarded. Spend a lot of time re-inventing the wheel.
