Pros

The people I worked with on a day to day basis across the business were for the most part genuinely invested in moving projects forward and getting the work done. Because the company expects you to do everything, you get a lot of experience on issues and tasks that aren't really part of your job (nor should they be.)

Cons

The company is increasingly scrutinizing every metric through endless reporting and not just on time delivery and quality. This endless reporting leads to incredible mircomanagement from corporate down to the sites. Additionally, as much as they keep trying to make "One Benchmark" a thing, sites are incredibly defensive when problems arise (no one wants to take the blame for the issue) and unwilling to work with sister sites to make customer commits or respond quickly to requests for updates. Finally, the pay is far below market rates, especially if you've been with the company for a few years. Raises are 2%, if that, and promotions are few and far between. Sure, you'll get more work when a coworker quits, but there will be no reevaluation of your pay to compensate for the extra work you've been doing and will continue to do. The company also seems to think there's a need to work between Christmas and New Years when our customers are shut down for the holidays. The only possible reason is because every year at year end site are scrambling to ship whatever they can to try and hit their numbers.
