Pros

Pay is decent for the area. Dispatcher schedule is rotating and consistent, you work 12 hour shifts but have lots of days off. Managing big-name automotive freight is good experience and looks good on a resume.

Cons

High turnover rate - consistently understaffed even pre-COVID. Lack of interdepartmental organization and communication. Culture resistant to change or improvement.
