- Tiresome recruitment process, long waiting times
- False job descriptions and zero transparency about working conditions (e.g. you may be asked to start working in night shifts suddenly)
- You may be hired for some role, which may be changed overnight, and you will be asked to do something which you do not enjoy doing, with the threats of being fired
- The know-how transfer from experienced colleagues in the US and Europe is highly erratic, the Indian teams are not valued and are treated unfairly
- Specific to our team, a new Director was appointed, someone with no management experience who had been a Consultant throughout their career, and this led to our decline
- The Director made life hell for us (only the Indian team because we were held in low regard compared to the teams in the US, Europe, and Australia i.e. heavy discrimination)
- As a result of this, there was high attrition (around 10 people resigned in a span of 6 months)
- Many new joiners resigned in less than 6 months owing to the pathetic working conditions and no work-life balance
- No work from home policy
- We were made to work only in the evening and night shifts against our wishes
- The HR is practically absent in all of this, if you take your concerns to them, it will backfire on you. Your job will be threatened.
- The HR is scared to take any concerns to higher management (fear of their own job)
