Pros
Although Bentley is becoming a large company, it is still privately held and still mostly led by the Bentley brothers. It is really exciting to be able to interact with the founders of the company and to see their passion for enabling our customers to succeed. Even 35 years after starting the company, Keith Bentley is as excited to develop industry leading technology today as he was when I met him back in 1998 when I joined. Although we are a global company with offices and colleagues literally in every corner of the world, our culture is still sort of like a small company. Please don't mistake that to mean that we operate like a small company. Under Greg's leadership, Bentley Systems has matured and adopted processes and technology that makes Bentley Systems a VERY desirable place to work.
Cons
In any company ... especially one the size of Bentley ... there will be cons. The negative experiences I have had over the many years of working here are associated with individuals who were probably not in the right position. My negative experiences are not associated with the company as a whole.
