No work pressure, you will always be in comfort zone and it will make you lazy, out of market over several years of employment here. You will not know any new technologies, new tools, new responsibilities, you will not understand how the IT industry works at all. So basically, you will become a good for nothing in IT industry after several years.
If you are developer here, you will be frustrated by doing software programming in a clerical way every day. Nothing new to learn from these products, and management is not at all interested in personal and professional growth of any employee. Performance reviews or career opportunities are improper as your those also depend on some corrupted political manager (who are not at all involved in your daily tasks). So, if you have not buttered them and you have only done good works over last year, don't expect any thing good in your paycheck or any promotion. You first duty to achieve success here is to pamper some of the influential managers here.
These managers are always involved in office politics. They always stay in a group and there are some senior colleagues too, who always butter them by having cigarettes outside with them or by joining wine parties, giving home drops etc. This way the managers here get impressed and only those guys get the promotion and many other opportunities. Whenever people from outside office come to Kolkata office, this group handles everything. Senior managers always keep their trusted ones involved with the outsiders so that their dirty office politics does not get leaked outside. Just to keep their regular office politics as a secret within them, the local office management committee has not even recruited a local HR here. All the office activities are in hands of those people who are trustworthy enough to not to disclose the dirty office politics.
You will see inefficient people here getting promotion just because of good relation with managers here. These inefficient people also know that they will not get a single penny outside this company (of course because of their inefficiencies) and so they are always busy in their buttering activities. If you are a hard worker who expects fair judgement and honesty and who does not care about buttering the managers here, then sorry, this place will only make you frustrated over years. While working for 10-15 years here, you will get frustrated by seeing unfair treatments every day, only a specific lobby of people who are involved in buttering some managers here will get good increment, promotion etc. No value for your knowledge here. Your salary will get incremented very quick if you are in this lobby. For people with good knowledge and skill, but not in this lobby, they will always remain poor here.
