I suppose it's nice being in Boston.

Cons

One of the highest collegiate teaching loads in the country with relatively low pay especially for the Boston area. Almost 2/3 of faculty are part-time hires.

Love the creative people I work with.

Cons

I asked for a raise, and tried to negotiate salary for each year. While the cost of life is increasing and while work load has increased during the pandemic, my salary has remained stagnant.
