Prestige, beautiful facilities, talented students, great parts of town

Cons

No salaries for Assistant Professors like me teaching 9 classes a week. No parking, no benefits. No rigorous pedagogical introspection beyond lip service. Not responding to students' needs or the needs of the field as it evolves, but the school continues to grow . . .

It was a very supportive work environment and collaborative team, as well as provided a great work schedule.

Cons

Unfortunately, the pay was quite low for the cost of living in the area and the benefits were nothing special.
