      Pros

      Worked there for many years and had thousands of incredible experiences with students from around the world. You can make a big impact on their minds, careers, and lives. Incredible faculty from all walks of life that are fantastic colleagues.

      Cons

      The administration consistently praises the results of faculty work (students' achievements, growth, opportunities, etc.) while playing down the work and value of the faculty. Contract negotiations are always very adversarial, pay is below standard for comparable colleges, and they keep transitions from part time to full time as low and infrequent as possible.

      Pros

      Super creative community of inspiring students and faculty who know their stuff. Progressive curriculum. Many state-of-the-art buildings and spaces on campus.

      Cons

      Leadership is in an echo chamber. Very exclusive culture, with promotions, attention, and praise most often being given to those who have been at Berklee for a long time (and anyone who hasn’t is generally ignored).
