Pros
Great company to work for as far as the main company, Best Buy, not BBFB as best Buy offers great benefits, fun workplace, good pay and a great place to learn while being the best.
Cons
Working for the BBFB division of Best Buy makes you feel like you just lost your mind and are wandering tirelessly through the desert with no water, daily. Micro management is horribly bad if you're on the outside teams, the inside teams it depends on who your manager is. Very inconsistent to say the least (can you say "hello hand, my name is leg, do you know what the head is doing today?") which is too bad as those managers lose great talent due to this where other non achievers get to bask in the sun it seems with no fear of getting clipped. Severe nepotism with many managers, however again this is subjective and varies through out company. Upper mgmt changes all the time, almost annually so of course every one of them wants to do things their way and in my years being here not one of them has done it right yet. Our systems are very slow and non responsive to the point of wanting to rip the hair right out of your head on a daily basis. Logistics and back-end for an account manager is atrocious. Layer upon layer upon layer.... Upon layer of admin work to do with little to no support from a support team that literally sighs almost every time you call for help to close business. Pays on closed sales only not written so with a sales process this clogged up equals your month in shambles if you didnt already hit it out of the park in the first half. Pay gets cut every single year, sometimes two to three time and we get asked to do more every year see "joy of a salesmen". one month your getting recognized as the top performer in your territory and the next month you're getting written up for just barely missing your number. No cohesion between retail and business channels and unfortunatey we are a retail company so what does that say about BBFB?
