Pros

Pros-great discount, lots of interesting people to work with, great if you love interacting with customers, flexible work schedule, thorough training

Cons

takes a while to get on board with the company; after they hire you there is alot of "we will get to that" when i ask a question, as in we will train you later, but then they will leave you by yourself like you should already know what to do

Pros

I worked at Best Buy during high school as well as for a while during college. The best way to explain the experience is this: it's retail, there's no avoiding the pitfalls that come with that, but in terms of retail Best Buy is likely the best it gets. Environment is friendly and you can see that that the company has a very strong values system that is easy to identify with.

Cons

There's no avoiding the fact that you will run into some bad management, but I'm sure this is true at every retail location.
