Pros

People, Product and Processes and a culture that allows you to be you and fosters your personal development, if you want it. I considered the top two companies in this business over two years ago. When the N2P company thought I might be a spy or, at the least, thought I was asking too many questions, to my surprise, they told me they were going in a different direction in my city. It seemed weird to me and turned me off to that company, immediately. I decided to ask the same questions to Kevin Orton, the Regional Director for BVM in the West, when I interviewed with BVM. He gladly answered them and thought they were good questions to ask. Since then I've developed 2 magazines in my town and was asked to be the Division Manager for 3 states, which I have developed, with BVM's assistance, into 15 magazines and Publishers I love helping be successful. You can't fail, if you plug into the BVM system of knowledge and people.

Cons

Managing the growth can be challenging, but that's a good thing. Its way better than managing the decline, I assure you.

Best Version of Yourself!

Pros

Best Version Media gives you freedom from corporate America and the autonomy to grow your own business on your own terms. It's challenging and exciting and a great feeling of accomplishment to be the owner of your own magazine and see how it impacts your local communities because of YOU! If you like meeting people and earning a pay-rise every time you make a sale once you're in print, then BVM are the best in the business.

Cons

BVM are very transparent about the challenge involved in getting the magazine to print; there is no income when you're in pre-print until you clear your baseline - but once you are in print there is no limit on your earning potential. This opportunity is not for everyone but for the right people (entrepreneurial, independent-minded) this is perfect. That's why we're called Best Version Media; if you take on the opportunity, you become the Best Version of Yourself. Fact.

Pros

I started with BVM in late 2014 and built 2 Magazines by March 2015 and everything was great! But soon after that i needed to have a full Knee replacement my recovery time was FIVE MONTHS. So what did the company do? They did everything they could do to help me through this very HARD TIME. My Regional Mgr. helped me maintain my two magazines the home office could not have been more helpful . My sales career spans 50 years and my respect and gratitude for this company could not be any greater.

Cons

I HAVE one con I wish i started sooner!!
