Pros
I have held multiple roles within my 20 plus years with this organization. I started as a C.N.A, worked in activities, as a receptionist, as a driver, and a nurse. Bethesda encourages individuals to grow themselves. This is evidenced by the many programs and opportunities within the organization to promote further learning and education. In my experience, I have always had a leader encouraging and inspiring me to do more. One of the mission statements is to provide fulfilling career opportunities for employees. This speaks dear to my heart as a WOC position was recently created to meet a growing need for our residents. While the healthcare industry has taken a beating the last 2 years with the pandemic, Bethesda remains proactive, supportive, and innovative . I recommend this a GREAT place to work!
Cons
Healthcare is difficult for everyone right now. While fast food chains and grocery stores are able to close dining rooms and put in U-scans, healthcare cannot. No device will replace a healthcare worker!
