AVOID AT ALL COST

Pros

High salary and unlimited PTO to attract new employees.

Cons

This place is a shark tank. Massive rounds of layoff (~400 people and entire departments). Here's my experience. I worked a lot of over time hoping to impress my team. I was laid off without advance notice. Unlimited PTO is a scam. HR justified they did not pay for unused PTO because it's unlimited. Many loyal, hard-working employees have been laid off. New employees are executives connections. This place is a chaos. No one knows what they are really doing. Even if you have no other choice, I would SINCERELY recommend you to AVOID AT ALL COST. You will thank me for your future mental health, career development and financial stability.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience with Beyond. We’re disappointed to hear your time with the organization wasn’t pleasant. Unfortunately, the layoffs were a result of the pandemic. Our leadership had to make some incredibly difficult decisions which resulted in the unexpected reduction of our workforce. We deeply regretted the need for this action and the loss of many hardworking, dedicated team members. Although challenging, we learned a lot during the pandemic. The HR Team looked at our total rewards and wanted to provide more options for team members. This resulted in the implementation of flexible, unlimited paid time off (PTO) for our salaried team members. Unlike our accrued PTO plan, the flexible PTO plan does not offer payout for unused time upon departure. Both plans are intended to provide employees the ability to balance their professional and personal lives. We value your viewpoint. And we welcome the opportunity to learn more from you about how we can improve our employee experience. If you are willing to share some additional feedback, reach out to us at HR@beyondfinance.com.

Pros

Joining Beyond Finance has been a real blessing, with the fact that you are able to help so many people who are going through some really difficult moments in their life on a daily basis. The training that is given when you join the company is high quality and really sets you up for success. With a team culture that promotes collaboration and doing the right thing. Beyond is a place that you are happy to work for once you join the family. The work can be challenging at times but there is always someone willing to help. The benefits are great and the company pays well. I especially like the fact that they promote from within.

Cons

Company is growing rapidly so there is a lot of changes.
