Pros

Extremely motivated individuals in practically every single department. The quality of hires here is astoundingly high, which in turn motivates everyone to work harder. Benefits and compensation are all very competitive. The amount of autonomy and growth opportunities given to each individual is very high. BillionToOne has a good shot at showing the world how running a biotechnology lab + R&D can be done in an efficient manner without throwing people at the problem, but by solving problems at the core.

Cons

While no one pressures you to work longer hours, it is easy to lose work-life balance over the large amount of tasks available to you.

Most people at this company are kind and helpful. Compensation is truly competitive. Autonomy. I believe in the product and science behind it.

Cons

There was no official HR department - I truly believe that if we had an HR department, feelings and actions would not have escalated to where they did.
