      The people at Bio-techne are all very nice and easy to work with, creating a positive and supportive work environment. The products in the portfolio are also great with many brilliant applications, which makes selling them really rewarding.

      Cons

      There is a lack of clear progression path when you enter this company at a junior level. Therefore people often leave after a few years when they feel ready to progress to the next stage of their career. There is also a lack of recognition of existing talent within the company, and highly qualified people are often overlooked. Business operations are prioritised over employee retention.

      Bio-Techne is at the forefront of scientific discovery and the people working there want to make a positive impact on the world. The team is friendly and hard-working, supporting each other to solve problems and find solutions. As expected with other bio-technology companies, Bio-Techne has healthy profit margins and ambitious growth plans. This leads to an environment of stability and good investment and strategic decisions. The Abingdon Head Office for EMEA is a nice office, with complimentary fruit / snacks and free electric car charging for employees. There are also regular food vans and events scheduled throughout the year.

      Cons

      Working from home full time is not an option, unless a remote offsite worker. However the office environment is great and most people decide to work more in the office than required for this reason.
