They're raising revenue. I think the old business model was stagnant, and they are overcoming that

in the 5 years since the new CEO came on board, the company went from $500mil in the bank to more than $500mil in debt. They spent a billion dollars on acquisitions and skyrocketing executive pay. They keep reducing employee benefits and increasing healthcare cost which results in reduced take-home pay every year. Morale is sinking, especially with employees that have been through this down turn. Newer employees probably don't see it as much

great veteran lab people, able to work hard to get jobs done. okay benefits. although not as good as they were. pay is competitive. great flexibility to be able to do job. (time, resources, collaboration) great work schedule flexibility! sense of community/family within the various groups. still would recommend to friend.

Cons

perks are not what they used to be even though we are more efficient and making more revenue than ever. every year for the last 3 -4 years we have lost a perk be it big or small. long time employees are feeling pushed out....along with their knowledge. culture is becoming too "hipster" and not enough of "lets get the work done".
