      Demoralizing place .

      Pros

      Great products with an awesome and very smart group of scientists. Culture used to be good before Biotechne's acquisition. Things changed for the worse.

      Cons

      There are some really overworked teams. Management does not encourage internal candidate's movement from one department to the other not even a clear career development path. The salary isn't competitive.

      Crumbling at their own fault

      Pros

      Pay was decent. Good benefits.

      Cons

      Lack of accountability between teams and amongst leadership. Frequent layoffs and reorgs. EPIC values only in theory not in practice. Haven't seen any initiatives for DEI. Constant flux of employees, projects, etc. Departments are not clear on what their roles and responsibilities are. General reluctance to address the root cause of problems. Micro-managing from business unit leaders.

      Pros

      ProteinSimple division was OK before Bio-Techne acquired it.

      Cons

      Old school upper management lacks the flexibility to meet the demands of our time. Extremely cheap company and they will find any way to reduce employee's financial well being. It is becoming like Thermo, where employee turnover is high and underpaid. Upper management is very well compensated due their stock options but they will dismiss any request related to stocks from employees.
