      People great to work with except management

      Cons

      management dont know how to people manage. they do not care about their employees. production management really dont care about you unless you a supervisor or above. head of hr doesnt have a back bone and doesnt seem to know what he is doing. production managers are manipulative people get pushed or forced out of the company without an actual reason. Pa has way too much control over the company. not nice person, treats employees like crap. as a former worker here i do advice not to work there as they dont care about you and will promise change and you wont see it and they promise development that they never will provide. if you want to progress in your job this is a company to avoid.

      Pros

      - Above average renumeration for the area - Company is expanding with a unique and fascinating product - Yearly bonus structure and inflation beating pay increases - Excellent staff amenities - Holiday entitlements increase with tenure - Excellent shift patterns - Respectful to people’s work/life balance - Pristine facilities with robust and regimented processes for maintaining this - Innovative, unique product that is changing people’s lives for the better - Evidence that the company is committed to driving a more progressive culture for improvement but it’s very early days

      Cons

      - The culture is very backwards for a manufacturer, expect days where you’re stood around doing nothing, complete lack of urgency - Company culture needs a top to bottom shake up, culture of fear mostly from the ‘first floor hierarchy’ - Lack of structure, no KPIs, lack of accountability for poorly performing staff members - No process for managing absence, people take time off sick like it’s an entitlement rather than a privilege - Far too many tiers of management, could easily be halved and halved again - Company is not willing to embrace better ways of working, stuck in their ways - High turnover of staff, mostly due to culture than pay
