      Always With The Patients In Mind

      Pros

      As with all companies, Biogen is only as good as the people and I work with some of the most dedicated and capable individuals. There's cohesion within my department, a sense of belonging within the local office, and a collaborative spirit that drives the work forward. The people here truly care about the patients at the other end of the process.

      Cons

      Recent product setbacks have been disappointing to everyone, but it's still a remarkably good place to be.

      Pros

      Open and creative atmosphere. People are supporting each other. One can surely develop and learn many things. Very competitive financial wise and benefit wise, at the moment it is difficult to find other company offering more.

      Cons

      Work-life balance is not kept as you generally work extra hours and sometimes you cover 2 or even 3 positions at the same time. Project wise, one can find difficult to move things forward as internal procedures are quite strict and discouraging.

      Biogen is truly a great place to work. What makes Biogen special is that all employees are totally committed to the company's mission to improve the lives of patients, and you see this quality demonstrated every day. Biogen also provide great work/life balance opportunities that allow employees to work in a flexible way.

      Cons

      There are very few downsides to working at Biogen but there are always opportunities to improve and streamline our processes. Biogen is committed to continuous process improvement initiatives, so the company is heading in the right direction.
