Good compensation, great benefits, nice co-workers, new offices.

Cons

Compensation between analysts of same level varies without reason, the business services center director isn´t interested in employees, yet doesn´t want to approve work from home from others, even though director is never at the office.

The Pro's: The company's purpose—developing products that save lives—is inspiring. Employees in acquired divisions and some local teams report supportive coworkers and functional management. These pockets of positive experience highlight what Biomerics could achieve with the right leadership.

Cons

Unfortunately, the organization’s middle and upper management, particularly in HR and Finance, cast a shadow over its operations. HR leadership is widely seen as ineffective, lacking structure and alignment with the company’s growth and employee well-being. Reports of broken promises—whether on bonuses, raises, or profit sharing—have eroded trust and morale across divisions. The absence of cross-site cohesiveness and project management structure adds to operational inefficiencies. Additionally, employees frequently express fear of job security and frustration with corporate's inconsistent communication. Promises are made, only to be delayed or abandoned, leaving teams feeling undervalued and disengaged. My role created a full supporting division in Costa Rica for the entire company, and after all the effort, I was let go without any reason of weight, and the exit process was DISAPPOINTING. So ALL the investment and personal hours I invested to achieve success were in vain,
