Pros
Most work activities allot time to take a breather. Coworkers are all lazy and do the minimum. So you can too. Only time you could get into trouble for messing something up is when management needs to cover theirselves. You wouldn't be fired even if you don't learn anything or work. So there's real tight job security. Annual 1 to 3~ percent raises. I believe Bitumar as a whole is a fantastic company that cares for their employees.
Cons
Having, what is usually desired work ethic, the initiative to do work like cleaning pumps and asphalt saturated gravel and concrete. And actually doing it correctly. Not just getting up a bit and covering it up with more grave. Having the built in drive and willingness to do more than expected from you. Being aware of issues and then creating solutions for them. Caring for and almost loving your work while having a strong work eithic goes unnoticed. No morale. No real drive to go beyond or even do what is expected of you. If a lead quits and you find yourself as a lead there is a cap at around 21 dollars(you'll still get annual raise.) It's a dead end. I went from loving and having satisfaction in my work to hating clocking in due to poor management and coworkers.
