Pros
BlackRock is a good company to build career for talented and dedicated professionals. They value innovative ideas, smart, ambitious and aggressive individuals can have a great career progress. Senior management, though super busy, usually approachable, when they have time. I believe BlackRock treats people with respect. Overall, it's a good company to work for.
Cons
The worst issue working at BlackRock is it's a sweatshop. Project time-lines are too aggressive and people are expected to put in late nights and often week-ends to get things over the dead line, and it happens all the time.
