Pros

Good WLB, more job stability than tech companies. New grad analysts protected from layoffs

Cons

Below market pay, lots of office politics (not skill based promotions), work is often disengaging, old tech stack, not an engineering culture. 2 year rotation for new grads is too long, and not great for learning

Pros

Excellent global exposure and strong reputation in the financial industry. Provides good learning opportunities in investment management, risk analysis, and financial tools. Work culture is professional, and teams are generally supportive. Exposure to high-quality clients and structured processes helps build strong analytical skills.

Cons

Work pressure can be high depending on the team and deadlines. Work-life balance may sometimes get impacted during peak periods. Growth can feel slow in certain roles, and processes can be quite rigid at times.
