      Competitive and fast growing. Market dominance and great marketing.

      Cons

      There are no accountabilities in this company. People are arrogant and have a lot of egos. The culture in this company is toxic and a lot of backstabbing.

      Good for a short term stint or starting your career in finance

      -Strong executive leadership that makes consistent effort to foster a healthy culture focused on client service and innovation -Generally, most at BlackRock are intelligent, talented, committed, and work together to support clients and their coworkers -Support for charitable giving and volunteerism is strong

      Cons

      -Leadership skills at the division level (MD) are inconsistent and your direct manager defines your experience at BlackRock. -Pay lags the market so be cautious about staying too long. -Technology architecture behind Aladdin is antiquated and it is difficult to obtain support for change due to lack of programming resources -Lack of diversity beyond the VP level -Difficult and complex promotion process at the Director and MD level -Bureaucratic
