      Pros

      Incredible first job, great manager & director, interesting material, challening & engaging work with great networking opportunities and team bonding with upward mobility. Felt supported and was encouraged to ask questions. But everything changed, very fast.

      Cons

      Middle management within GAAPs suffered undue layoffs/terminations of high performers, replacing them with toxic, disorderly, rude, and incompetent directors. The teams within this function have had a mass exodus with no replacements really in sight, me being one of them. But they don't care and they actually want you to leave. I am happy I left when I did and am grateful for the positives, but the abuse isn't worth the lack of compensation and low pay

      The culture at Blackrock is very toxic and not inclusive. I would not recommend working at this company, which only has a good name.
