Pros

Great value in the work they do, lots of passionate people committed to providing the charity sector the very best they can, great office vibe, great office location (North Sydney). Most importantly it's personally rewarding work.

Cons

Poor leadership, very nepotistic (co-workers going on Christmas vacations together), lack of vision. The real damning factor is they do not recruit outside of the not-for-profit sector making the business so inbred that commercial expertise counts for very little. Senior directors of charities would consider working as a junior at Blackbaud a positive career move and consequently they come cheap.

- Very low morale amongst employees - Bottom-line obsessed; overly reliant on outsourcing; compensation is below market - Very micromanaging; prepare to spend more time talking about what you do than you spend actually doing it

The pay is atrocious and the expectations are ridiculous because of the staff levels and the controversies over the years. This job will take it's toll on you.
