      Pros

      Having worked for some of the top rated employers in the country (Alcon) and worst, I can say with certainty that Convio was a great company to work for, but is evolving rapidly, to include the workplace dynamic. While there, the company had passed it's early growing pains, but was still family-like in its feel, with fantastic benefits and emphasis put on employee happiness and care. Convio was Now

      Convio was recently acquired by Blackbaud, which is sure to change the workplace dynamics and priorities, whether for better or worse.

      Pros

      Great co-workers and clients and offers full telecommuting and relatively little travel. Good health and 401k benefits.

      Cons

      No educational opportunities. Not even seminars or job related on-line classes. In order to keep up your job skills, you have to keep up your education or you cannot stay current. Then when you no longer have a job, your skills are outdated. This is also a high stress job since you manage concurrent clients and someone always has a big problem.
