Pros

Depending on job function there is an opportunity to work remotely. Random days off and depending on job function work life balance are positives.

Cons

Pay is significantly lower than the market. This is certainly not a place to make a career due to this and the lack of any advancement opportunities. There is no bonus and no formal development opportunities for my job function. The "culture" is equally laughable, uninspiring and can be toxic during busy holiday seasons. US based employees who leave are replaced offshore. The product is not innovative, service is not swift or responsive, and the company is one motivated competitor away from becoming second tier.

Decent People, TERRIBLE culture

Pros

+ I have an excellent team and amazing coworkers, which makes the day-to-day manageable. This is not the case for everyone + Decent pay, but not many incentives other than that + Benefits (though it feels like they chose the cheapest option) + Global and remote workforce + Good work-life balance

Cons

- Culture is stale and frankly, kinda pathetic. DEI is not prioritized - Doesn't seem to walk the walk in regards to employee growth or engagement - Company, tech, and internal systems feel EXTREMELY outdated. Their IT systems feel held together by MS Office and duct tape. - Most people are kind, but a few (namely in sales) are really terrible co-workers who would rather walk all over you than work with you. - Not Innovative or cutting edge in any way. Their entire business model is to acquire other companies and solutions and then squeeze out the market. - No great support structures. HR and IT are stretched way too thin. - Company seems to only care about profit. - Requires you to come into office part time if you live within 50 miles. 50 miles is quite the distance in some cities.

Pros

Climate controlled offices, comfortable and clean

Cons

On a daily basis, I am required to find ways to avoid giving consumers access to the money they deposited on prepaid cards. My excuses are: 1. The consumer has no receipt for the funds placed on a "gift card" given to them; 2. The consumer does not have 20 forms of address verification; 3. A monthly fee is taken for "inactivity" even though our network blocked the card and they cannot perform activities.
