Seems to be constant budget issues and resourcing. High turnover of staff, always having new faces and not enough time to learn names, people leaving and being fired and the longer term staff already having their own cliques and social groups, not much chance for other areas and teams to work together and build working relationships, only on social events but relationships are short lived as you may not see people again until the next event months down the line. Also, they try to force you to attend social events and don't really accept you have other responsibilities or a life outside of work, make you feel bad if you can't make it or choose not to. Any additional bonus pay not always paid on time - never guaranteed if the authoriser is unavailable - you may have to wait additional months to receive it. Not much progression available or training. Several occasions asked to stop the job for weeks on end to take on other roles. New starters tend to feel intimidated by the lack of team culture and stick to themselves. Interns get paid hardly anything for completing proper jobs that the business cannot function without.
