      Pros

      I had time to spend with my family

      Cons

      Management is not knowledgeable; no communication; no room for growth; play favoritism; non-caring of staff; no exit interviews because they know it's horrible; and HR is an absolute joke. Most folks in HR are extremely unfriendly and go out their way to be rude and unfriendly.

      Pros

      Good exposure to opportunities to hone your craft. Generally nice environment, people and culture for a large law firm. Most attorneys were a pleasure to work with although you always have a few bad eggs. Although perks for the employees used to be much more impressive, Blank Rome is still probably toward the front of the pack in this regard.

      Cons

      Very little opportunity for advancement. Could use greater diversity among the manager/director ranks.
